    Forum Guidelines

    Flaming, Bashing, and Trolling

    Hate posts and personal attacks will not be tolerated. Treat others on these message boards as you would expect them to treat you. Posting topics specifically designed to provoke a negative response from someone (aka trolling) is also asked to be avoided.
    • This also includes via private messaging.
    • Impersonating Other Users / Accessing Another User('s) Account
    You may not impersonate another board member or create an account specifically for the purpose of provoking other users. Also, accessing or using someone else's account or attempting to access another poster's account is strictly prohibited. You will be banned.

    Copyrighted Material

    users agree not to post any material that is protected by copyright, trademark or other proprietary right without the express permission of the owner(s) of said copyright, trademark or other proprietary right.
    Do not post “offensive post, links, or images.( racist, hateful, sexist, obscene, vulgar, discriminatory, or in violation of local international laws.

    Accounts allowed:

    All forum users are only allowed to create one account in their name and under their forum user name. Any member found in violation will have their account suspended or banned.

    Signature and Avatar guidelines:
    Keep your signature and avatar in good taste, the contents of your signature must be acceptable for the community.
    Animation should be kept to a minimum and both your signature and avatar should not be too distracting.
    Do not include spam, harassing links or affiliated links in your signature.
    Any signature in violation will be deleted and the offending member will be addressed by our moderators.
    No advertising or links to advertising are permitted.
    Advertising is defined as posting a link for the purpose of selling, soliciting or promoting something. Ex: Fundraising, advocacy, etc. are not permitted.
    Sharing of links to helpful and relevant websites and resources IS ALLOWED if they are not used for a promotional purpose.
    *Stay on topic: post which are not relevant to the forum topic may be deleted.

    Selling/ Buying/Trading

    North Texas Reef Fanatics are not held responsible for any items bought or sold on this forum. It is the responsibility of both parties of any transaction taking place. It is also your responsibility to communicate the negotiations of the terms for the selling/buying/trading of item(s) with NO delay!
    The buy sell forum is intended for use by active members (only) attempting to sell their items.
    When posting an item for sale please make sure to list your location and a price.
    It’s highly recommended that you post a current photo of the item you are selling. This will allow members the opportunity to view and see the items that are being sold. It will help increase the odds.
    Handguns, rifles or any other firearms or parts are not allowed.
    DO NOT troll members trying to sell their items. If you do not like what they are selling or agree with the price they are asking please keep your opinions to yourself.
    Do not repost or double- post your items for sale. Double post will be deleted.
    Do not also hi-jack or solicit items you have for sale by threads started by other members.
    While bumping your post back up to the top is allowed, please limit your efforts to once a day by poster.
    When an item has been sold, please indicate so in the original thread. This will alert other members that your item is no longer available.
    Please DO NOT link or direct members to eBay or any other website for the sale of your item.

    What happens if I break a rule?

    If you break a rule you will either be warned or banned. To be determined by staff.

    A banned member at NTRF loses all privileges for posting, communicating and being registered on the forums.
    Banned members also are prohibited from attending any club events which includes: Club meetings, frag swaps, workshops and other events that the club provides.
